Nothing But The Babe!

Kavella loves to help me vacuum--this is how she usually assists me with my cleaning! On top of her riding, Choco FREAKS out every time I vacuum, so he's barking and trying to bite the vacuum while she rides it! It's a wild life I live!

Another walk to the beach! My little Valentine.

Okay, so, we ventured out to a new restaurant down on Main St. the other week. After a lengthy wait, we were finally seated and placed our orders. The place was packed, buzzing with conversation, service and music. Kavella loves socializing. She loves any interaction, in fact! At Cucina Alessa, we were seated in an area with much activity, so Kavella was thoroughly enjoying all the attention she could pick up. About twenty minutes into our meal, she began straight-up having some sort of sugar-high trip, sans any sugar! She was standing up and down in her high chair, pointing at our neighbors, gabbing with the waitress chewing on her straw, drinking from her sippie cup like a crazed drunkard (really tossing it back) and generally acting like she was buzzed! It was funny!

Apparently, when I laugh, I throw my head back. Kavella is a great mimicker and has started to do the same! Yes, I know, she's a bit too big for the sink-bath now. We only had our tub faucet fixed last week, so I'm still not used to the idea that it's a possibility....

We were heading to play Eden and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture how delicious Kavella looked. Glad I didn't!

Kavella's new sleeping habit. Seriously, she's always got her lets propped up on her bumpers and sticking out!

"My first bike ride with Mom! Pretty sure I lost all circulation to my legs....Daddy needs to pull my seat back a bit..."

"Sometimes, I try to pull my helmet off, but it never comes off. Usually, I just pull it over my eyes and then freak out because I can't see. I think my Mom loves stopping to fix it!"

"Mom, can I please just drink my water without you chasing me around with the camera? Ugh.."

Another Disneyland day with my girls!

Eden, Kavella, Corban and Merrick-- my friends.

Newport and Huntington with Beanie!

I love Beanie! After our Vegas trip, she was able to come spend a few days at our home! We walked on the pier in H.B.....

Took little naps with Choco......

Went to Newport harbor to watch the ferry and boats.... Stopped to get hot cocoa and donuts beforehand.....Kavella was cruising all by her lonesome and stepped in a puddle, which turned her white socks completely black. Her shoes kept coming off, so I just let her walk around in socks. I'm a totally good mom.

She was mesmerized by the ferris wheel....

Spinning around makes us dizzy.....

We went on the boardwalk.....unfortunately, there was a rain storm heading our way, but we were able to have a little fun in the sun before it arrived!

We may or may not have color-coordinated our outfits on purpose....

Checked out the cliffs....

Took Kavella on her first bike ride! We couldn't get her helmet to stay on straight, so a majority of her time on the bike was blind. She didn't seem to mind!

Blind on Main St.

Yea! Riding with Auntie Colleenie!

It was great having Colleen here! Bean, send me a few of the cute pictures you took and I'll add them to this post! Please! Don't let me down...

Peek-a-Boo!

Kavella is just the cutest, sweetest, most delicious baby!! I love, love, love her! So, the other day, I gave her one of those baby cookies--it's similar to a graham cracker, except thicker and messier. Basically, she only receives one if a bath is immediately subsequent to eating it! Well, I was in the kitchen doing dishes while she gnawed on it and watched Sesame Street. I look over and see her hair all matted with the brown, sticky cookie....it's also all over her ears and sides of her face. I was planning to bathe her anyhow, so I wasn't too worried, mostly just curious of why she would be rubbing it ALL over her head. Turns out, she was playing Peek-a-Boo with Elmo....except, she only knows how to cover her ears, not her eyes! Take a gander at her Peek-a-Boo skills....

Viva....Las Vegas!

Another Vegas weekend! For the Manager's Retreat this year, we got to stay in the Bellagio, which was really pretty! Our room had a fountain view and we could turn on the t.v. to hear what songs were playing with each water show! It was awesome!

I loved how low the window was so that Kavella could watch the show! Look at her little legs--poor thing inherited my calves...well, lack thereof!

We were delighted that Colleen could fly down to babysit Kavella for us while we went to dinners, the spa and shows! It was fun having her there to play with while Dust was in meetings, too! We're thankful she could watch K-baby for us! We love Colleen!

If you've ever been to the Bellagio, you'd have noticed the stained-glass mushrooms in their lobby. Tourists who are impaired must love staring up at all those colors!

We wanted to see exactly how big our double-chins could get...gross, I know, but funny!

I have no idea.

Not only are we imitating the panda bear behind us, but we were also mimicking Chris, who's eyes are forever closed in pictures....Doesn't Chris look like a little panda bear? Ha, ha!

Seriously, I embarrass myself sometimes! It's just that Colleen and I have so much fun together that we don't know when to stop. We certainly didn't stop here--just wait....

You know all the construction for City Center? Well, this is the hall of death around the construction. As always, there was a bum sitting in the middle of the hall, asking for money. Bean and I walked through the hall to CVS to get some candy and formula one night. We were scared--if you couldn't tell by her facial expression!

Eating at P.F. Changitty Changs! I love me some Chang's spicy beef and crispy-honey shrimp! What do you get there?

Kicking her feet up with Dad!

Dude! This hotel across the way had Donny and Marie Osmand across their entire hotel. When I was laying in bed, all I could see was Marie staring in at me with her big teeth and smile and weird face, all alien-like, so Dustin pooped on her! Stop looking at me, Marie!

We're obviously classy and appreciate/respect fine art. Oh, grow up!

Kavella was stoked on the red balloons hanging from the ceiling! Here they are...

Dust and I got to go to Cirque de Soliel's LOVE show! It was really neat! They played all Beatles songs and did acrobatic activities! I'd never been to a Vegas show, so I was completely enthralled and enjoyed it thoroughly! I guess Dustin was trying to see how many chins he could have! Ha, ha, just kidding!

BEST shake ever! BLT Burgers in Caesar's Palace has the worst burgers, but the most delectable shakes! Cookies and cream mocha something. Sooooo smooth! Plus, they give you a big straw, so you can actually drink it through the straw.

Dangit! There were nakie statues behind us, but we suck at aiming the camera.
