AZ and Ricky Ticky

We went to Arizona, for some reason or another, and it was really fun!

Kavella is a fish! Well, besides an aversion to getting her face wet...so, that would make her, um, a buoy of sorts?  Never mind.

I would tell you what we call Curren when his shirt is on his head like that, but apparently it's politically incorrect these days.

Ha, ha, what a little nugget!  Curren loves being in the water.  Half the time, I thought he'd just fall asleep!

Ricky was very successful at work this year, so his company sent him to a fancy resort down in Laguna Beach!  I was so happy to see him, Morgan and baby Lilian!

Ricky helped me make my very first batch of Mom's cinny rolls, which were delicious!

Cutiepie Lilian with her Daddy. Doesn't Ricky look so svelte?

Laguna Beach is so beautiful.

Ricky was so fun for Kavella to play with; he took her to look at the rock pools, ran with her, went into the water with her and gave her shoulder rides!  What a good Unkie Wicky!

Tasty tootsies.

We went to a burger joint named 50/50 because it uses half beef, half bacon.  It was pretty tasty, but is was way overpriced, in my opinion.  Unless you're Ruth's Chris, you shouldn't have EVERYTHING be a la carte on your menu. Lilian was the perfectly quiet little baby that she always is!

Naturally, I had him ensure that this picture was modest by keeping his baby boobies covered.

When your kid can adjust his own swing setting, he's too big for a swing.

Cooking with Kavella is so fun!  I think this was our first attempt at cinnamon rolls without help from an actual human being in the room...don't worry, we were on Google chat, text or speakerphone with Jenn, Colleen or Mom the entire time.

Baby blitzkrieg!

One of our favorite things to do is ride our bikes to the beach path.  It's fun and it's free!

Oooookay, have you ever seen such a cute babe?!

Instead of having them say 'cheeese,' I had them say "muuuuud." Just kidding.

Happy 3rd Birthday Kavella!

Happy Birthday to the sweetest, cutest, smartest, most thoughtful/observant, kindest, funniest girl I know!  Kavella, you melt my heart with your delightful personality.  I love spending time with you and watching you grow and learn.  You are a leader and a peacemaker.  You are considerate and loving.  You are aware of others' feelings and are understanding of their needs.  You forgive easily, admit your mistakes quickly and learn rapidly.  Yes, even at the age of 3, all of these things are true.  I hope you keep all of these wonderful character traits throughout your life.  I love you.  I love YOU.

Eden, Merrick and Kbaby.

Annie is 3 weeks older than Curren--age is only a number girl, go for him!  He's trying to sneak a hand onto her foot--he did the 'ole yawn and stretch move for that one. Smooth.

Kavella's HB cousins and Aunties came over to celebrate!

Stop it. Stop focusing on my massive chin and start looking at how sweet it is that I'm putting clip-on earrings (that Grandma Roberts gave Kavella) on her ears!

Kavella, you are a doll.  Now, stop growing up so quickly!

This is Kavella as a dirty, old dude sitting in front of the t.v. getting fat.

Curren's cheeks are just sooooo tasty delicious!

Curren gets to wear Kavella's necklace and hat!  I don't know what is all over K's face. Hopefully, food.

Kavella liked to wear my boot around and pretend that her foot was broken!

The Managers' Retreat was in Temecula this year.  We were mostly excited about sleeping in.

Here's our crew!  I am so grateful to Dan for keeping WTI successful and for keeping Dustin gainfully employed.  Dan is always so generous toward his employees.

Look at us all showered and going on a date!  Amazing!

I mean, he is just so absurdly delightful, huh?  My camera SUCKS; everyone has red eyes or is blurry...sometimes both. Are my kids really vampires?  Mwah ha ha ha....
