Merry Christmas 2011

Merry Christmas 2011
Love, The Morrisons

You can consider that our Christmas card for last year.  Hmmmm, now that I think about it, our family hasn't changed a whole lot since then, so go ahead and consider it our card for this year, too!  Ha, ha!  But, seriously.

Cousin gift-exchange!  The kids had a good time making reindeer cupcakes, opening gifts, and then going on a harbor boat ride, courtesy of Uncle Jim's sister (Barbie)!

Deina's head is blocked, Darci and I look like we're dating and LesLey is Curren's mother; what can I say? We had limited time to pose for a picture!

Look at how low the crotch on Kavella's tights is....I'm almost certain they were for a 1 year old.  She was almost 3 in this picture.  Oopsie!

Look at Kavella's tasty face!

I don't know who started the Mexican-themed tradition for our Christmas celebration, but I believe it was one of the best moves for our family!  Besides being able to consume a ton of delicious food, the kids get to smack a Christmas pinata!  Genius.  Thanks to Dan and LesLey for always hosting our Christmas celebration!

Curren makes a scrumptious baby Jesus.

Sweet angel Kavella.

Thumb-sucker-babies are such a blessing!!

Better Late Than Never...Right?

I know, I know, it's annoying to look at a boatload of pictures of someone else's kids/family.  It's like, "here we are smiling in front of _____," and "here we are grinning in front of _____," and "oh, look how different our smiles look in front of _____."  It's lame.  I get it. I won't be offended (or know) if you just outright delete this email...or do a quick scan of all the pictures, which I'm guilty of doing--even if I'm looking at pics of my own adorable kids.  What?  That was inappropriate.  Anywho, I'm about a year behind in posting pictures, which is better than my 32-year delay in socially appropriate behavior, so at least you don't have to bear the weight of that right now, too....unless you're my family...or just an acquaintance...or any other human being I come into contact with....ok, well, sorry.  I'm going to start with solving my current picture crisis.

I haven't seen such a delicious baby since, well, Kavella!  Look at Curren's perfectly round head and tasty, fat cheeks!  How can I love THIS much?  (Brag, brag, brag...so annoying, I know.)

In case you were silently wondering whether or not Curren's head seems....SLIGHTLY...larger than normal; yes it is, and no he's NEVER made it onto the growth charts for his age group.  He'll grow into it...I think.

I love you, Kavella.  Love, love, love, love, love you!  You are a sweetheart!!

Why would I need to hire a professional photographer when I can capture this nugget (above) with the timer on our Sony?  (That was sarcasm...it's hard to do in print.)

What up, G-Unit?  The happiest times in my life are when my family comes to visit!!

Look, here's a picture of my handsome husband and cute child smiling in front of...this wall.  Darling.

Kavella and her best bud Eden decided to put on Chante's make-up.  Impressive, is it not, Eden's accuracy?  My kid...not so much...unless she was going for the "goth" look, then, spot-on, girl!  I think I owe Chante some more base.
