Chicks!

In Broken Arrow, there is this really neat farming store called 'Atwoods.' They have everything from Cartharts to salt licks, but the coolest thing they have (during Springtime) are bins filled with chicks and baby ducks! I'm assuming they're meant for farmers, but we like to just go in an play with them. I even bought one for Dalin a few years ago, which his mother really appreciated. So, Colleen and I took Kavella to check out the fowls!

Oh, yes, very interesting......they LOOK pretty neat.....

"You shut your bill, duck!"

....they SOUND chirpie....

.....they FEEL pretty cool....

.....they SMELL kinda funky.....

.....mmmmm, they TASTE fuzzy! Trust me, I didn't just let her suck on duck head. It all happened so quickly! She sure loved it though!

Now, this is why you gotta love Oklahoma! If this isn't the best trailer-hitch cover you've ever seen, then show me a better one!

Colleen and I got to go to dinner with Serenity (and Ryan) at Los Cabos! It was so fun seeing her new house and spending time with her! Love you, Seren!

Two reasons this is the best toy ever: 1) it teaches Kavella that cleaning is fun 2) it has a detachable hand-held vacuum. Ellie let us borrow it and we are so thankful!

Scottiepie is getting so FAST in his walker! Sometimes, he'll do "turbo mode" and kick off the ground with both his feet at the same time! It's rad.

"I love me some Chiiiiiiliiiiis!"

"You don't have to get dressed up like you're going to Wal-Mart." Ha, ha!

OOOOOOOklahoma!

The first few pictures have nothing to do with Oklahoma. I also don't know why blogger is underlining my words--I can't make it stop. Anyway, my girlfriend Autie refurbished this dazzling bench, so I decided it needed to be displayed! Isn't she so crafty!?

K-baby was wearing her rain boots for the day!

Clearly, my asking her to pose (again) with Choco for a picture is reasonable; she doesn't find it bothersome at all.

This is where Kavella spent most of her flight to Oak-town. Like the last time, we used all of our mileage points to purchase a first-class ticket, which provided more room for roaming. Since we chose the first row to sit in, Kavella had her own little corner to play in! Here she is playing with a roll of tape (thanks for the idea, Autie)! I don't want to talk about the rest of our flight.

One afternoon, Colleenie and I cruised over to the Forest Ridge playground for an afternoon of fun--and boy, was it! Colleen's new puppy, Bandit, took a ride down the slide....

....so did Vella....

....we played "grocery store".......

....and walked on a bridge.

Look at all that land!

Naughty, Bandit! But, oh-so-cute!

Kavella was delighted to ride on Uncle Brycie's shoulders! She kept leaning over and saying, "Hiiiii!"

Bean and I went on daily scooty-scoot rides. We went to Braum's, Whataburger, back roads, rivers, the new Wal-Mart and nearby neighborhoods, which was lots of fun! On one ride, with Bryce on the other bike, we accidentally wrecked, but were only injured slightly. Cruising around is one of my favorite activities!

K loved playing with her Aunt Nennerpoo!

Playing with cousin Ellie

Eating with cousin Dalbaby

Riding with Grandpa!

Shane, Jenn and Mommasita. And Shane's massive arms.

Scotty and Bryce E Boy!

Luke and Grandma!

Um, Jenn wants to make out with my cheek. I know, they're pretty tasty looking, huh?

I've always had a great time riding with my Pops! He was sweet to take me on a little ride (and Brian was nice to lend him the bike)!

Colleen and Bandit! Isn't he the cutest, most tangy puppy you've ever seen!? I was so in love with how edible he was that I actually began nibbling on him.....he seems to do well with only three legs now. JK.

My latest blanket.

High Heels and Spinning...ha, ha!

Okay, this was a few weeks ago, so Kavella's obviously honed her spinning skills since then, but this is how she uses her "jumpy" these days. Yes, I do still put her in it when I shower. Otherwise, my house would be more of a disaster than it already is! Isn't Kavella so resourceful with the three-toys-a-year that she gets?

Just like any girl learning to walk in ridiculously high heels, there are a few moments of instability, but Kavella powers through like a lady! She has a great sense of balance, huh?

Nom, nom, nom....

You may ask yourself, "Is she going to photograph EVERY single craft she does?" Possibly, so just accept it.

Touch my doughnut again and see what happens, woman.

While Dustin and I were saying our morning goodbyes, Kavella helped herself to Daddy's powdered doughnuts. Apparently, junk food will not only add lbs, but it will also change your sex....what? You have to admit she does look like a little boy in that picture! :)

Okay, I don't have some sort of fancy-schmancy camera, nor do I put a great effort towards capturing "THE" perfect picture angle....I just like to take pictures of the PEOPLE I love. Because of that, I usually have to explain what is surrounding the person I am capturing--cement, American-flag surfboards. I love America, Huntington Beach and surfboards; Kavella....well, she seems confused and crowded by it all.

A family stroll to TK Burger. People adorn the walls with stickers and my favorite one reads: "Go home, East Coast kooks!" (No offense, Mom; Upstate is totally different than the city.)

"Flik's Ride" at California Adventure. You'd think Kavella was staring at a 5-foot-tall ant. No, no, just a camera. Understandably confusing.

Da-da-da-dah! Granny Morrison bought Kavella a grocery cart!! She loves it! Thanks, Granny!
I let Kavella try it out for a minute at the store, just to see if she liked it. That was a mistake. When I took it from her to place in our shopping cart, she screamed, flailed and cried. She INSISTED on holding it until we got to check out (picture her red-faced, strapped into the seat section while contorting her body backwards in order to touch the handle of her grocery cart). Then, when the checkout person grabbed it to scan the price, I seriously thought she had fallen from the cart and injured herself in some sort of detrimental manner. In actuality, she just thought the sales clerk was taking her cart and adjusted her reaction to the "appropriate" level. The drive home was filled with gut-wrenching screams from her carseat, so I had to really turn up the radio. Furthermore, when we finally arrived home, I went to cut the plastic netting that contained all the goods, which produced a grand display of "terrible two's" at it's best. Hold on, she's only 15 months. It's gonna be awesome when she's a teenager. Awesome.

Bhaa, ha, ha, haaaaaa!! "And this little piggy went to...." This picture reminds me of a face Colleenie would make if she were RIDICULOUSLY excited!

Dust and I enjoyed playing catch at the beach. Then, Kavella dunked herself into the ocean and I, being the great mother I am, had no backup clothes to change her into, hence the sweatshirt and diaper look.

Newport Beach Temple. I swear the only time we get a babysitter (a.k.a. Deina) to watch Kavella is when we're doing a session. Geez, we are sooooo righteous! (If you didn't read sarcasm in that sentence, then go back and read it again.)

In true O.C. style--high heels are appropriate with EVERY outfit, right?

This is Kavella's first "nugget" sighting. For those of you who don't watch Chelsey Lately, a "nugget" is a little person. We were at the Muppets show when this little person asked to assist in taking a picture. I'm pretty sure Kavella thought he was part of the set until he walked over and took our camera. In her defense, he was standing quite still while she played around him...

Snubbly.
