April (Not-So-Much) Showers.

I finally got Kavella some beach toys. She will carry them all the way to the ocean, which is convenient considering she doesn't understand how to "hold on" to me when I carry her; she's like a dead fish. Dustin said she looks like a Palm Springs Retiree in this outfit (above), but I thought it was very Spring..ish! Aunt Morgan gave her the top, which is actually a onesie that she's too big for, so I turned it into a tucked in shirt.

Anyway, does anyone watch "Undercover Boss" on Sunday nights? I quite like that show, what with all the bosses posing within their own companies as entry-level employees and all. It helps them get a feel for what really goes on inside their companies and whatnot. Well, last week's episode featured the boss of Roto-Rooter, a large plumbing company. I almost threw up. Pipes are a dirty business--cleaning out massive wads of hair and gunk from the tub, giving septic pipes "bypass" surgeries (which required immersing oneself in the filth that others excrete) and other disgusting, make-you-start-to-gag, chores. It was NAPPY.

Enjoying a day on the beach with Corban.

Enjoying a day in the house....with Corban. I didn't have a car this week, so I enlisted the help of Melody to make my days more fun by letting the kids play, which proved enjoyable!

Last Saturday, I rode my bike (with K) and Dust skated down to this surf contest being held off Main south. We accidentally left the longboard just sitting next to where we locked the bike up--anyone could have just picked it up and taken off. Fortunately, when Dust went back to get it, it was still sitting in the exact same spot we left it! Yea for Huntington Beach residents for being honest!

This picture was taken for the sole purpose of slyly capturing the Beschen brothers in the background. I was going to brag to Shane--who watched a documentary about their South American surfing adventures and subsequently deemed that he, too, wanted to experience a road-trip surfing adventure--about having seen them. They're too blurry to see....doesn't count. Dangit.

One day, Kavella and I went to watch Daddy surf. It turned out hotter than I expected, so we rolled up her pants and shirt and she was off to play in the water!

Continuing on my crafty journey, I made a hooded towel for a girl in my ward! It looks cute, but we'll see if it actually holds up...now, I need to learn how to embellish with ribbons and whatnot.

Yes, he is, our Choco buddy, the cutest puppy ever, yes he is, yes he is, yes he is, our good little boy, who is the good boy? Choco buddy....yes, he is.

Last Thursday, I acted like a...pill....and was all upset when Dustin came home at 8:00 at night (which he always does, so it's not like it was anything unusual or surprising). I totally acted like a girl--made him reheat and clean up his own dinner, pouted on the couch while he ate, sighed loud enough for him to hear as I finished putting Kavella down and then retired without saying goodnight. Naturally, he inquired as to what was wrong, but instead of continuing my "girl" act, I just came right out and told him (I was too tired to be like, "nothing's wrong..."). I told him that I need him to spend more time with the family!! I want him to come home in time to eat dinner AND have time afterwards to play for a bit. The very next day, he came home from work at 6:00!! It was great! We went on a walk to the beach and look how happy we all are! Okay, Kavella thought the camera was on the ground, but you get the point! I love Dustin--he's so considerate of my needs, and he puts great effort into ensuring that I don't go crazy.

Choco and Kavella shopping at South Coast--she loves to torment him by laying on him, but sometimes, she'll just love him by putting her arm around him (above).

Raise your hands if you're sure!

I do not watch undercover boss, but I should start. I swear that all my shows end at exactly the same time! I have nothing to watch now besides Celebrity Apprentice :) Haha

Corban and Kavella are so cute! They should mate, I mean date. (Dodgeball reference) :)

I love the secret stalker pic! Too bad it's fuzzy though, but we get the idea that you are a creeper ;) Just kidding!!

Kavella is just so scrumptious!! She's so boochie boo bottom! (Remember that I decided that was the word for the cutest when it comes to Kavella, cause I can't think of any other words to describe her sometimes!)

Good job on the towel!! I'm so impressed with you! My little cute, little cute, cute little sister mom! Good job! Someday you'll have to teach me everything!

Choco is so handsome! I love him!
